BMKG Weather Forecast: Cloudy Day in Jakarta

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) released a weather forecast for Jakarta today, Monday, August 26, 2024. The weather agency forecasted a partly cloudy and cloudy weather in Jakarta. Today's air temperature ranges from 23 to 33 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 5 to 16 kmh. 

Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, and Seribu Islands will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies this morning, from 06:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Jakarta time. Meanwhile, South Jakarta and East Jakarta will be covered in thick clouds. According to BMKG, the air temperature in Jakarta this morning ranges from 23 to 35 degrees Celsius. 

During midday, partly cloudy skies are expected for Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, West Jakarta, and East Jakarta. Meanwhile, Seribu Islands will be cloudy with the lowest air temperature from 27 to 28 degrees Celsius. The rest of Jakarta will have an air temperature of 29 to 31 to 35 degrees Celsius.   

The weather forecast in the afternoon shows thick clouds covering all of Jakarta from 03:00 p.m. to 06:00 p.m., with air temperature ranging from 28 to 33 degrees Celsius. The highest air temperature will occur in South Jakarta. 

Meanwhile, the weather will gradually clear from cloudy to partly cloudy in the evening in Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, West Jakarta, East Jakarta, and the Seribu Islands. According to BMKG, the air temperature will range from 27 to 30 degrees Celsius.
