TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Persib have landed Chad striker Ezechiel N Douassel ahead of the second round of Liga 1 championship. The player has signed a contract that will end at the end of the season with an option to renew.
Ezechiel N Douassel has been introduced by Persib management today. The 29-year-old will wear No. 70 shirt at the club.

“We needed a striker and agents had made offers. But there was a strict selection process; we had sought suggestions from others. He was not the only option because there were other strikers as well,” Persib Bandung commissioner Zainuri Hasyim said today in Bandung.
Zainuri expects that N’Douassel’s signing would strengthen Persib Bandung strike force following Sergio Van Dijk injury and the departure of Englishman Carlton Cole who failed to meet the club’s expectations.
Ezechiel N Douassel is awaiting stay permit clearance to make his debut for Persib in Liga 1.
