TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, stated that he was looking forward to a great decade ahead by focusing on technology development in Indonesia. Google is committed to focusing on developing Indonesia, especially in the field that can improve lives and communities through economic impact, digital responsibility, or using AI and technology for goodness.

Google also announced that it had signed several agreements with the government to provide insights and recommendations to reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions due to traffic jams that occur at various main intersections in Jakarta. One of them is by presenting the Green Light Project in Jakarta which is aimed at optimizing the function of traffic lights.
By optimizing the traffic function, continued Sundar, Google will be able to reduce Traffic congestion, fuel consumption and vehicle emissions. "This is a small portion of how we work together to build Indonesia that is ready for the future. Everyone can take advantage of the opportunities created by technology," said Sundar.
Furthermore, in a video titled Dear Future Indonesia, he also delivers the latest information about Google's various efforts to assist partners in building skills for students, journalists, small business owners, and the elderly community. One of them will be funding the Google Play x Unity Game Developer Training initiative, a pilot program in collaboration with the Indonesian Game Association.
This initiative is aimed at growing the creator economy in the Video Game sector. Another initiative related to digital talent announced by Google is the opening of a new batch of the Bangkit program, industrial training for students, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology which is the Merdeka Campus program, GoTo, Traveloka, DeepTech, and several other universities.
