TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Law and Human Rights Ministry`s Director General of Correctional Sri Puguh Budi Utami said that there are 1,090 inmates from six correctional institutes in Palu, Central Sulawesi, that have not returned after the earthquake and tsunami that hit the region.

However, Sri Puguh said that the ministry has not planned to commence a search for the inmates and their whereabouts. “We will ask them to return after the situation returns to normal again such as the water supply and electricity,” he said on Tuesday.
