TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The West Java Police and the Bogor Resort Police on Christmas Day reviewed the flow of traffic and tourist areas in Puncak, Cisarua, Bogor.
West Java Police Chief Insp. Gen. Budi Maryoto said in general, the Puncak area is always a favorite holiday destination. From morning until noon on Christmas Day, there had been no significant vehicle density. Since the day before Christmas Eve, some 41,000 vehicles have entered the Puncak tourist area.

"The road is crowded, but not jammed. Meaning there is no congestion in this favorite destination," Budi said at Gadog Traffic Post in Bogor, Monday.
High flows of traffic were spotted at the entrance of Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI) Zoo. The Bogor Police responded by imposing a one-way road towards the venue, and deployed backup to manage the traffic near the zoo's entrance and intersection.
"Taman Safari should also add more staff to work on the holiday—approaching cars that queue for tickets. That way, the queue won't be too long," he said.
The peak of traffic flow in Puncak occurred on Christmas Eve. Some 41,000 cars and motorcycles entered the area, more than twice the normal capacity of about 15,000 vehicles.
"I predict that, maybe, by this afternoon it will be less-packed since tomorrow is a work day," Budi said.
