TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned oil and gas company Pertamina is confident that the new RON 90 fuel Pertalite can take over 30 percent of the Premium fuel market share. However, Marketing Director of Pertamina, Ahmad Bambang said on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 that the prediction can only applies on gas stations that sold Pertalite.
Ahmad made his statement following the decreasing trend of global crude price. Ahmad hoped that in the future, Pertalite will be able to control 20 percent of the national fuel market.
Ahmad claimed that the average sales of Pertalite have reached 4.6 kiloliters per day. The number was derived from sales data in 101 gas stations Currently, Pertamina is planning to distribute the Pertalite in other gas stations across the country.
