BMKG Forecasts Sunny Morning, Partly Cloudy Afternoon in Jakarta

TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency or BMKG forecasts a sunny morning in Jakarta, on Monday, July 22, 2024. The weather will shift to partly cloudy in the afternoon and is expected to last until evening.

Today's temperature in West Jakarta ranges from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the air temperature in Central Jakarta and East Jakarta ranges from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius, South Jakarta is between 23 to 32 degrees Celsius, North Jakarta is between 25 to 32 degrees Celsius, and the Seribu Islands ranges between 26 to 28 degrees Celsius.

The air humidity level in Jakarta is expected to range from 46 to 87 percent. 

Hourly Forecasts

BMKG’s weather forecast now comes with an hourly format that covers sub-districts. The new format is adding to the city-based weather forecast previously released by the agency. .

Apart from sub-district-based weather forecasts, BMKG also provides weather forecast information for special places or spots. Take Jakarta for example; BMKG now releases forecasts for some tourist attractions such as the National Monument and Kota Tua.  

This new format provides more specific information about the weather, air temperature, air humidity level, and wind speed down to the sub-district level.
