BMKG Forecasts Rainy Evening in Jakarta Today

TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecast Jakarta's weather today, Friday, June 14, 2024, will vary from cloudy to rainy. 

BMKG also issued an early warning for rain potential with lightning and strong winds in parts of East Jakarta and North Jakarta this evening.

The weather in Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Seribu Islands is expected to be cloudy in the morning.

Meanwhile, the BMKG weather forecast expects drizzles to hit South Jakarta and East Jakarta in the afternoon. Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Seribu Islands are forecasted to remain cloudy. 

In the evening, the entire region will be raining to varying degrees. Central Jakarta and the Seribu Islands will have light rain, and South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta will have medium-intensity rain. The rain will ease to a drizzle in the early hours of Saturday, June 15, 2024.

BMKG also recorded that the air temperature in Jakarta today ranges from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius, while the air humidity level ranges from 65 to 95 percent.
