TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian has enacted Public Mobility Restriction (PPKM) Lvl 2 in five City Administratives and one Regent of Jakarta.

"Especially to the Jakarta Governor, for the city and regent area, level 2 are to be applied," stated in the first dictum of Tito on November 29, 2021.

The regulation was written in the Home Affair Minister Instruction No. 63/2021 regarding PPKM Lvl 1-3 for Java and Bali areas from November 30 to December 13.

Previously, Jakarta status was at Level 1, restaurants' operational hours, which were originally up to 22:00 West Indonesia Time (WIB), now have to close earlier at 21:00 WIB.. This regulation applies to places to eat at street vendors or those located in separate areas.

The 60-minute eating time still applied. Both visitors and employees must do a screening using the PeduliLindungi app. Same regulation applied for malls. "Maximum capacity only 50 percent," wrote Tito.

Restaurant which opens at night is still allowed to operate. The operational hour is from 18:00 WIB to 00:00 WIB with 60 minute time eating limit and 50 percent of maximum capacity.

Meanwhile, operational hours for supermarket are the same as before, but with 75 percent of maximum capacity. Cinema, gym, and public facilities are allowed to operate during PPKM level 2.
