TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Agency (BP2MI) noted that the placement of Indonesian migrant workers abroad reached 274,965 people in 2023. Head of BP2MI Benny Rhamdani said that the government is trying to add more placement countries for Indonesian workers.

"I have proposed 19 countries for the government to open up opportunities through new policies to strengthen the management for the placement and protection of migrant workers,” said Benny on February 26, 2024.

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) released a weather forecast for Jakarta today, April 26, noting that the capital city will see cloudy skies and light rain. The air temperature is expected to range between 24 and 31 degrees Celsius.
