SOE Leadership, Former Co-Worker Speaks Highly of Ahok

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Former president director of regional-owned enterprises under Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama’s leadership, Marina Ratna Dwi Kusumajati, said that state-owned enterprises (SOE) will be successful once led by Ahok.
“I’m sure that SOE will have success led by him, who is a hard worker, responsible, and has integrity,” said Marina, who’s the current president director of Bumi Proteina Digdaya dan Agro Tiga Berkat.
She said that she has seen enough evidence as she once worked directly under his supervisory.
“He’s smart and when he does not understand something, he will listen to an expert in the field,” said Marina who also asserts that the former governor of Jakarta has never intervened with matters related to politics.
Ahok has been reported extensively throughout multiple news outlets as he is rumored to be appointed as an SOE leader by SOE Minister Erick Thohir. However, both Erick and President Jokowi have not revealed which specific SOE Ahok will be placed at.
