Ahok Accepts Offer to Lead SOE

    Ahok said he was invited to talk about the future of state-owned companies.

    Ahok's former deputy and successor of Jakarta governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat supports the idea of him running an SOE. 

    "He is a pro. He is a party cadre, but he is very professional; he is detailed, and he is a hard worker who is straight and very creative," Djarot said in Jakarta, Wednesday.
