TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Metro Police spokesperson Sr. Comr. Yusri Yunus announced Monday the summoning of two members of the Islam Defenders Front (FPI), Aziz Yanuar and Haris Ubaidillah; FPI leader Rizieq Shihab; and his son-in-law scheduled for Tuesday.
They will all be summoned for questioning in the investigation into the recent crowd gathering, which violated the COVID-19 health protocols, that took place in the wedding reception of Rizieq’s daughter.
“We hope they can all be present in tomorrow’s questioning. As we all are law abiding Indonesian citizens,” said Yusri on November 30.
Besides Rizieq Shihab, the Jakarta Metro Police has also summoned four people related to the wedding reception that took place in the area of Petamburan, which allegedly violated Article 160 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) on quarantine No.6/2018.
