Prosecutors Examine Files of South Jakarta Porn Film Production House Director and Crew Members

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Metro Police handed over the files of five suspects in the case of the porn film production house 'Kelas Bintang' in South Jakarta. It is also conveyed by the head of the Legal Information Section of the Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office, Ade Sofyansyah.
“The files have been received and are currently being examined by the prosecutors,” Ade told TEMPO, on Saturday, September 23. He did not detail the time needed by the authorities for further action following the handover of files and goods of the suspects. “It’s still under investigation,” he added.
The Jakarta Metro Police previously sent the first-stage files of five suspects in the South Jakarta porn film production house case, namely the files of director Irwansyah and four crew members. The files handover had been done since early this month after the raid in July.
Director of Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Unit Sr. Commissioner Ade Safri Simanjuntak said that the investigators were still waiting for the results of the files research by the prosecutors. "If the prosecutor has declared it complete, then we will carry out stage II (of handing over the suspects and evidence) to the prosecutors," he said.
Meanwhile, 13 male and female artists from the production house led by Irwansyah were being questioned. In total, the house production has 120 porn films with the profit reaching Rp500 million.
