Police Investigate Explosion in Wisma BCA

TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - South Tangerang Police Crime Investigation Unit Adj. Comr. Alexander Yurikho said the investigation on the explosion occurred in Wisma BCA, Serpong, is still underway. The blast hit the fourth floor of the building located at Jl. Kapten Subiakto, South Tangerang on Thursday, May 31, at 17:30 local times.
“The Jakarta police team is still examining the cause that injured four technicians,” said Alex in the site, on Thursday, May 31, adding that the investigation was also helped by the Crime Investigation Unit.
The incident that caused the technicians suffered burn injuries was allegedly due to work accident.
“We could not say the cause yet as the investigation is underway. According to the doctor, the condition of the four was not harmful,” Alex added.
The injured technicians due to the blast in Wisma BCA were rushed to Eka Hospital, BSD, for further treatment.
