51 Nabbed During Police Crackdown in Central Jakarta Men-Only Spa

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Police broke into a spa for men in Plaza Harmoni shop house in Central Jakarta on Friday evening (6/10). The break in was carried out since the fitness spa called T1 Spa Harmoni was alleged to run same-sex prostitution.

As many as 51 men were brought to Central Jakarta police station. Seven of them are foreign citizens. “Four from China, one from Singapore, one from Thailand, and another one from Malaysia,” Jakarta Police spokesman Comr. Sr. Prabowo Argo Yuwonosaid in Central Jakarta on Saturday (7/10).

From the scene, police confiscated a number of evidence including condoms, lubricants, dildo, and aphrodisiac with the bran Rush. “We also secured Rp 14 million, the list of employees, Mandiri Electric Data Capture (EDC) machine, cash register machine, and printed bank account of PT Teritor Alam Sejati,” Argo explained.

Police has named six suspects including GG (T1 Spaowner), GCMP (operational supervisor), NS (cashier staff), Ts (finance administration), and KN (employee providing condoms). They will be charged with acts of porn or facilitating sexual perversion for others, Argo added.
