TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in collaboration with universities and securities financing companies has opened four investment galleries aimed at educating the public and academicians on the capital market.
As many as three galleries were inauguratedon August 1, 2017. They are the Sharia Investment Gallery at Bandung Islamic University (Unisba), the Investment Gallery at STIE Ekuitas, and the Sharia Gallery Investment at State Islamic Institute in Padangsidimpuan. The IDX inaugurated the fourth investment gallery at PGRI University in Semarang.
“BEI also rolled out a financial literacy program through the IDX Stoc Sound Concernt,” IDX spokesperson Yulianto Aji Sadono said in a press release received by Tempo today.
Yulianto added that the IDX also held a seminar on the capital market for Family Welfare Movement (PKK) members across Central Java on Thursday.
As many as four companies participated in Public Expose Marathon 2017 in Medan. The companies are Bank Mandiri, Lautan Luas, Bumi Serpong Damai, and Bank Negara Indonesia.
