The Jabodetabek LRT project is being constructed by Adhi Karya that separated the construction into two phases which each phase consists of three cross services. The first phase will work on Cibubur-Cawang, Bekasi Timur-Cawang, Cawang-Dukuh Atas. Meanwhile, the second phase is Cibubur-Bogor, Dukuh Atas-Palmerah-Senayan, dan Palmerah-Grogol.
The project is in the process of acquiring lands that are state owned and privately owned. The current challenge they face is to acquire the privately owned land that will be used as an LRT depot in East Bekasi. From the 10 acre land to be acquired in East Bekasi, half of it is owned by Adhi Karya.
Luhut is optimistic that the LRT project’s land acquisitions will be complete as soon as September.
