TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned Enterprises Minister Rini Soemarno denied reports that she had given Presiden Joko Widodo a list of names as candidates for Pertamina's next president director. To reporters, Rini said she is not rushing to make an announcement.
"We still have 30 days to decide it," she said after meeting President Widodo at the State Palace Friday, February 10.

Based on information Tempo collected, it is said that Rini has three names to be proposed as Pertamina CEO candidates. They are Ahmad Bambang, the oil company's former's deputy president director; Dwi Daryoto, its human resource director; and Arief Budiman, finance director.
Rini said she has not received any proposal, including from the president. When asked if she had heard about reports that President Widodo is suggesting Pertamina's processing director Rachmad Hardadi as the company's new chief, she rebutted it.
"Nothing, there has been no proposal, and nothing is decided yet," she said.
On Friday last week, the government sacked Pertamina's president director Dwi Soetjipto and deputy president director Ahmad Bambang from their posts, citing "leadership issues" and lack of teamwork.
SOE Minister Rini Soemarno mentioned several criticisms against Dwi and Ahmad's leadership, one of them is the company management that was not well-run despite Pertamina's huge responsibilities.
