Megawati Named as Director of Pancasila Coaching Unit

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The PDIP chairman Megawati Soekarnoputri has officially been appointed as director of the Pancasila Ideology Coaching Unit. She has yet to decide what to offer to the unit. 

“Well, I’m not sure what to suggest, I was just inaugurated. I currently can’t provide any inputs,” said Megawati Soekarnoputri following her inauguration that was led by President Jokowi today, June 7.

Megawati said that she would need to hold a meeting with other members of the Pancasila Ideology Coaching Unit in order to decide what matters must be proposed.

“I have to gather other members of the Coaching Unit to talk about this. We don’t even have the structure for the organization yet,” said the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) chairman.

Other members of the Pancasila Ideology Coaching Unit that were inaugurated by President Jokowi today include Try Sutrisno, Mahfud MD, Syafi Maarif, Ma’ruf Amin, said Aqil Siradj, Andreas Annanguru, Wisnu Bawa Tenaya, and Sudhamek.
