TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Attorney General Office (AGO) has been questioning Winanungtyastiti Swasani, Secretary General of the House of Representatives for six hours in relation to the AGO’s investigation on Setya Novanto’s suspected conspiracy case. The AGO asked 35 issues related to Setya's tasks and duties as House Speaker.
"[The questions] were related to tasks, authorities, Presidential Decree on the Appointment of House Speker, and code of conduct," Swasani said on Wednesday, December 16, 2015.
Swasani said that she had handed over documents related to the Presidential Decree on the Appointment of the House Speaker. Swasani however, seemed to elude questions related Freeport Indonesia President Director Maroef Sjamsoeddion and oil tycoon M. Riza Chalid.
Swasani also reluctant to say whether the meeting between Setya, Maroef, and Riza had violated the House of Representatives’ code of conduct. "I am not the one to judge," Swasani said.
