According to Jokowi, the government is currently has its attention to new and renewable energy, especially geothermal energy because of its large potential from Sabang to Merauke.

Jokowi further said the target to build 35,000 megawatt will able to be achieved as long as all elements in the central government and the society can utilize this potential. He also appreciated young people who have become more aware about new and renewable energy.
