"We did not have that little bit of luck," he said, as reported by the official website of the club, manutd.com. "I hit the crossbar and Adnan hit a shot against me when I was offside."
Giggs was not happy with the club's performance on the field. In addition, he criticized the referee, Andre Marriner. The 40 year-old player claimed that two goals against MU was not supposed to happen.
"We created enough chances, but unfortunately the decisions went against us," he said as quoted from manutd.com.
The team must win on the second leg if they want to qualify for the finals.
