The Indonesian Trade Ministry through the Directorate General of Consumer Protection and Business Order (PKTN) held a meeting with PT Mitra Muda Jaya or PK Entertainment, the organizing committee of the Coldplay concert in Jakarta on November 15, 2023, to address consumer complaints.

“The Trade Ministry is following up on consumer complaints, in this case, concert ticket buyers claimed they were being disadvantaged,” PKTN Director General Moga Simatupang said in his statement on Monday, Dec. 4, 2023.

2. FIFA Allows Supporters to Raise Palestinian Flag during U-17 World Cup

The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) announced that FIFA allows supporters to raise the Palestinian flag in stadiums during the U-17 World Cup 2023. PSSI chairman, Erick Thohir, said he had coordinated the matter with the world football's governing body.

Erick said FIFA had no problem with the flying of the Palestinian flag as a symbol of support for humanity and protection of human rights.

3. Indonesian Health Minister Speaks about Singapore's Increasing Covid-19 Cases

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Covid-19 cases have increased significantly in Singapore. Referring to these conditions, the Indonesian government, through Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, appealed to the public to always remain alert.

The increase in COVID-19 cases in Singapore doubled from November 19 to 25, 2023. This is based on data released from Singapore's Ministry of Health, said Minister Budi.
