TEMPO.CO, JakartaThe Directorate of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit opened a complaint center for cases of trading robots and binary options via a hotline number 0812-1322-7296. The hotline is also accessible via Whatsapp.

“Access to this hotline is opened for victims of trading robots and binary options cases. Victims residing anywhere, either in Jakarta or other regions, can make a report starting today,” said Director of Special Economic Crimes Brigadier General Whisnu Hermawan in a statement received in Jakarta, Thursday, March 17.

Other than the WhatsApp hotline number, victims can also file a report via the police’s Instagram account @posko_robotrad_binary_option_dittipideksus. The service is officially opened starting Thursday.

Wishnu explained the complaint service was prepared to facilitate victims of alleged fraud under the scheme of online investment or trading.

To date, the police have investigated a number of fraud cases through binary options and trading robots platforms, such as Binomo, FBS, Viral Blast Global, Mark AI, Evotrade, FAHRENHEIT, FIN888, and DNA Pro. The police have also named suspects, including Indra Kenz.

“We hope that this complaint hotline can help victims of fraud under the scheme of investment using trading robots and binary options that are recently rampant in Indonesia,” Wishnu said.
