Jokowi Inspects MotoGP 2022 Facilities, Mandalika Economic Zone

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo accompanied by First Lady Iriana left for West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province for a working visit today, January 13.
With a limited entourage, the President took off from Jakarta’s Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base boarding the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft at around 7 a.m.
Arriving at Lombok Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport, Central Lombok Regency, he was scheduled to monitor a number of airport facilities that will be used by MotoGP 2022 participants and spectators.
“After that, the President and his entourage will continue their journey to the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Central Lombok Regency. The President will inspect the readiness of the bypass route to the Mandalika SEZ and a number of supporting facilities,” as released by the Presidential Secretariat, Thursday.
The state head was also scheduled to inaugurate the launching of Injourney Holding for Tourism SOE and supporters which will be held at Kuta Mandalika Beach.
In the afternoon, he will hold a limited meeting and monitor the MSME area in the Mandalika Bazaar.
Accompanying President Jokowi on the flight to West Nusa Tenggara Province were State Secretary Pratikno, SOE Minister Erick Thohir, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, Presidential Military Secretary Young Marshall M. Tonny Harjono, and the Presidential Security Detail (Paspampres) Commander Maj. Gen. Tri Budi Utomo.
