TNI Commander Congratulates Indonesian Navy on 76th Anniversary

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesian Military (TNI) Commander Air Chief Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto in the celebration of the Indonesian Navy’s 76^th anniversary on Friday, September 10, 2021 said the Navy would always be Indonesia’s front guard against all forces that posed a threat to the country’s maritime sovereignty.

“The Navy has become an integral part of TNI’s powers. The Navy is the front guard of the country’s defense powers against all threats to our maritime sovereignty,” Hadi said in a video footage aired by the TNI Information Center in its official Twitter account on Friday, September 10, 2021.

He added the Navy is also a substantial part of the country that colored the latter’s journey. In the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Navy is relentlessly committed to assisting the government through all of the components of its integrated fleet weaponry system, Hadi added.

“Hopefully, as the Navy grows and becomes more seasoned, it can continue to elevate its performance and contribution to the people and the nation,” Hadi said.

Hadi also called on the Navy to continue to hone its interoperability skills that were connected to the integrity of the three forces so as to meet the visions and missions of a world-class Navy for a strong and growing Indonesia.

“Happy anniversary for the Navy, Jalesveva Jayamahe, at sea we are victorious!” Hadi Tjahjanto remarked.
