TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - North Jakarta recreational destination Taman Impian Jaya Ancol (Ancol Dreamland Park) is set to reopen to the public starting on September 10 under strict health protocols and reduced visitors capacity.
Following the loosened public activity restriction (PPKM), the Governor's Decree No.1072/2021 also limits the tourist site’s operational hours to 21:00 Jakarta time.
The decree adheres to the health protocols set by the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry and the Health Ministry, which permits a specific group of tourism sites to reopen amidst the pandemic.
Notable requirements set by Ancol management are as follows:
1. Visitors are required to have been vaccinated against Covid-19 (first dose considered the minimum). It can be proven with official certificates through the Jakarta Kini (JAKI) app, PeduliLindungi app, and physical certificates.
2. Visitors and employees must use the Indonesian Covid-19 tracing app PeduliLindungi as a screening tool.
3. Ticket bookings are made exclusively online through its official website.
4. Children aged 12 and younger, elderly aged 70 and above, and pregnant women are still not permitted to enter.
