TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta administration has received 232,824 doses of Pfizer vaccine and begun to inoculate Jakarta residents beginning Monday, August 23, 2021.

Based on the official records from the Health Ministry’s Acting Director-General of Disease Prevention and Control, Maxi Rein Rondonuwu, the Pfizer vaccine would be distributed to South and North Jakarta with the former receiving 174,324 doses and 58,500 doses for the latter.

One of the vaccination centers providing Pfizer vaccine shots in South Jakarta is the community health center (Puskesmas) in Cilandak district. However, it can only administer 60 doses of vaccine each day as cited from its Instagram page @puskesmaskecamatancilanda on August 22.

Apart from the Cilandak Puskesmas, another Puskesmas in Lebak Bulus sub-district will also be providing Pfizer vaccine shots under a limited time period from 09:00-12:00.

Two other vaccination centers offering the Pfizer vaccine for people aged 18 years and above in Jakarta are located at the Health Ministry’s PPSDM Agency headquarters and the Judo Building in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.
