TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The COVID-19 vaccination using Pfizer will begin in Jakarta today, August 23.

The vaccination using the vaccine produced by the U.S. firm reportedly would take place in four locations, viz. the Cilandak District Health Community Center (Puskesmas), the Lebak Bulus Community Health Center, the Health Ministry's PPSDM Agency in Jalan Hang Jebat of South Jakarta, and Judo Building in Kelapa Gading of North Jakarta.

The vaccination in the Cilandak District Puskesmas would run at 13:00-14:30 WIB (Western Indonesian Time).

"People who meet the requirements are allowed to register for the Pfizer vaccine [which will be administered] within a quota of 60 doses per day," reads the poster uploaded by the Cilandak District Puskesmas via its Instagram account @puskesmaskecamatancilandak on Sunday, August 22.

The Lebak Bulus Puskesmas, meanwhile, would serve the Pfizer vaccine at 09:00-12:00 WIB.

When Tempo accessed the registration link, the Pfizer vaccine quota at these two health centers was full. One of the requirements for the recipient of the Pfizer vaccine is people aged 18 years old or above.
