Bobby Nasution - Kahiyang Ayu Ask for Neighbors' Support in Medan Election

TEMPO.CO, Medan - Bobby Nasution, the son-in-law of President Jokowi, and wife Kahiyang Ayu greeted residents of Taman Setia Budi Indah Complex (Tasbih) in the city of Medan during a neighborhood gathering ‘Temu Jiran Tetangga’ on Tuesday, November 17. The father of two said that his small family had just moved to the residential complex about two weeks ago.
They previously lived in Bukit Hijau Regency (BHR), near the Tasbih complex, with their mother, Ade Hanifah Siregar. On the occasion, Bobby asked for neighbors’ prayers and support in the upcoming Regional Head Election as he and Aulia Rachman would become a mayor and deputy mayor candidate pair.
The family and the campaign team of candidate pair number two, Bobby-Aulia, asked for prayers for strength, courage, and serenity during the campaign period.
Bobby said that public participation is needed in the Medan election because it is the public who will monitor the government’s work performance. He underlined that what he conveyed was not a mere promise and asked for prayers to be given the power to realize the promises if elected as the city mayor.
“The public satisfaction on the performance of regional leaders can be seen from the participation level of the people in using their rights to vote,” said Bobby Nasution.
