TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Graft convict of Bank Bali case Joko Tjandra is kept under the custody of Salemba Penitentiary, on Friday, August 7. He will serve two years in prison.
“Joko Tjandra is moved to Salemba Penitentiary to serve his prison sentence,” said Head of public relation and protocol of penitentiary directorate-general Rika Aprianti, Friday, August 7.
Rika said Joko is self-isolating for 14 days as set in Covid-19 protocols. He will be put in jail with other prisoners after passing the self-quarantine period.
Joko Tjandra had previously been held in the custody of the police criminal unit during the examination process and then moved to Salemba.
