Covid-19 Update: Jakarta Sees 195 New Daily Cases

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Health Office announced 195 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the capital. The additional cases raise the city's coronavirus tally to 10,472.
"There was an addition of 195 positive cases, thus Jakarta's total cases now reach 10,472," The Health Office's head for public health, Fify Mulyani, said on Thursday, June 25.
Meanwhile, the number of recovered patients increased by 112 people to 5,434. Three people died, bringing the virus' death toll in Jakarta up to 631.
The Jakarta Health Office also recorded there are 25,647 people under monitoring (ODP) and 17,295 patients under supervision (PDP) as per today.
Fify said that as of June 24, Jakarta had taken 270,854 PCR samples.
After entering a transition period before ending the large-scale social restriction—known domestically as PSBB, on June 5, the number of new cases in Jakarta continues to increase.
