William explained that the transaction was recorded based on the number of Tokopedia users which exceeds 90 million visitors monthly. William claimed that Tokopedia is experiencing an increasing trend in transcation. "Now, monthly transaction had exceeds USD 1 billion. Growth remins positive," he added.
He further stated that economic transaction in Indonesia for 2019 is forecasted to exceed USD 1 trillion. For a slice of the pie, Tokopedia targeted that its transaction value for 2019 could reach USD 15 billion. "As of this year, may be it can (reach) USD 15 billion, from Indonesia. Until the end of the year hopefully it can be achieved," William said.
William asserted that the Indonesian economy can be equally distributed. "We hoped that the Indonesian economy is no longer centralized, but distributed," he added.
