11 Public Transportation Available in Kertajati Airport : AP II

TEMPO.CO, Tangerang - State-run airport operator Angkasa Pura II (AP II) said that a total of 11 companies are ready to operate public transportation from and to the newly-opened Kertajati Airport, Majalengka, West Java.

The public transportation was prepared following the relocation of Husein Sastranegara Airport to Kertajati International Airport on July 1, 2019.

“There are 11 companies, 10 travel operators and Damri Bus, ready for operational as the mobility from and to Kertajati,” said Vice President of Corporate Communications, Yado Yarismano, in a written statement, Wednesday, June 26.

Yado mentioned various incentives had been prepared in a bid to support the effectiveness of the transportation service. “Damri will start services from and to Kertajati during a transition period starting July 1 until the end of the month.”

Travel operators, he added, would provide tariff discounts, while Damri bus to offer free seats. “Damri prepares free seats from Bandung to Kertajati and vice versa.”

Here is the list of land transportation to operate in Kertajati Airport:

  1. Damri: rute Bandung – Kertajati, Cirebon – Kertajati, Cikarang-Kertajati, Kuningan – Kertajati
  2. CTU Shuttle: Bandung – Kertajati, Tasikmalaya-Kertajati.
  3. Lintas Shuttle: Bandung – Kertajati, Tasikmalaya – Kertajati
  4. ECA Shuttle: Cirebon – Kertajati, Kuningan – Kertajati, Indramayu – Kertajati
  5. P. Trans: Purwakarta – Kertajati
  6. Baraya: Bandung – Kertajati
  7. Mekarsari: Majalengka – Kertajati
  8. Ames: Sumedang – Kertajati, Majalengka – Kertajati
  9. Budiman: Tasikmalaya – Kertajati
  10. Bhinneka Shuttle: Bandung – Kertajati, Cirebon – Kertajati
  11. BJT: Cirebon – Kertajati

Meanwhile, AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said that in addition to travel and bus transportation, his corporate would provide online transportation service as alternative transportation.
