TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The temporary result of the vote count in the 2019 presidential election recorded by the General Elections Commission's (KPU) vote-count information system (Situng) on Monday, May 6, at 3 a.m. Jakarta time revealed that Joko Widodo or Jokowi - Ma'ruf Amin pair was still ahead of Prabowo Subianto - Sandiaga Uno.
Jokowi - Ma'ruf garnered 58,371,007 votes or 56.31 percent, while Prabowo - Sandiaga trailed with 45,281,182 votes or 43.69 percent. The voice gap reached 13,089,825 or 12.62 percent.
The data entered in pemilu2019.kpu.go.id came from 550,286 polling stations (TPS) of the total 813,350 TPS, or 67.65 percent.

A province that had completed the vote count until today morning was Bengkulu. Whereas, Bangka Belitung Island, Southeast Sulawesi, Bali. and Gorontalo almost finished the recapitulation, while Papua and West Papua only completed 20 percent and 19.1 percent of vote count respectively.
The Situng data was based on the tabulation of C1 vote tally forms collected from all polling stations, and the process was still ongoing. The system is opened for the public so they can check the vote recapitulation process in each region.
The official recapitulation and result of the 2019 presidential election will be announced by the KPU on May 22, 2019.
