Sandiaga Uno Greets Jokowi Supporters Before Campaigning in Bali

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice presidential candidate number 02 Sandiaga Uno is scheduled to campaign in Singaraja, Bali province, today morning, April 9. Prior to the event, Sandiaga started his day with morning jog in the area of Puri Saron Hotel until Dolphin Beach.
While exercising, Sandiaga was cheered by dozen supporters of his electoral rival Joko Widodo or Jokowi. They wore a t-shirt emblazoned with the picture of Jokowi and some donned a white shirt with the text "Bersih Merakyat Kerja Nyata" that the incumbent candidate worn in many occasions. Sandiaga stopped for a while and greeted them.

Moreover, Sandiaga was also invited for coffee and took a group photograph with a number of people donning attributes of the PDIP party when arriving in Dolphin Beach. He posed while handshaking one of them, while others upheld thumbs-up salute.
“As I always say, we don’t want politics that divide people, but unite,” said Sandiaga as noted in a written statement, on Tuesday, April 9.
Sandiaga said that democracy should be a joyful thing and does not trigger hostility. The Prabowo - Sandiaga campaign team, he asserted, committed to creating peaceful and united politics since the beginning. “We spread peace from Bali,” he added.
Sandiaga Uno is scheduled to campaign in Singaraja, Buleleng, Bali on Tuesday morning. In the afternoon, the running mate of Prabowo Subianto will also campaign in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
