MRT Jakarta Trial: Only 140,000 Remaining Quota

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The quota left for the free trial of MRT Jakarta on Thursday, March 7, is 140,000 tickets from the target of 285,600.
“The quota is based on the comfort and safety of the public participated in the free trial,” said MRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary Division Head Muhamad Kamaluddin in a written statement.
Based on the MRT free trial registration website, ayocobamrtj.com and Bukalapak app, the remaining quota is available for five days on March 18 - 22. MRT provides a maximum quota of 28,000 per day.

In the trial, MRT will operate seven trainsets and one backup. There will be a total of 98 trips every day with a 10-minute interlude.
Through the public trial, MRT Jakarta will evaluate its first phase service before the commercial operation. Kamaluddin hopes the public could give feedbacks and inputs after the trial in order to improve the service.
