Information on AirAsia Offering Free Tickets is a Hoax

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - AirAsia encouraged the public to ignore the hoax that suggests the airliner is offering two free flight tickets for the customers in celebrating its 24th anniversary.
AirAsia Head of Corporate Secretary and Communications Baskoro Adiwiyono said that the viral message is indeed a hoax.
“The information currently spreading is a fraud posing as an AirAsia Official,” said Baskoro on Tuesday, January 23. He also reminded people to not click any link attached in the message.
Previously, the information went viral on numerous social media platforms, stating that AirAsia is offering two free flight tickets to celebrate its 24th anniversary by clicking this link: http://airasîa.com/tiket-gratis/.
Baskoro later said thatAirAsia is not responsible for any implications that might arise from this hoax. He also reminded that AirAsia will take legal actions towards the people that spread the hoax.
