TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will dig up testimony from the witness about the role of Fredrich Yunadi in the probe of obstructing the investigation into electronic ID (e-KTP) graft defendant Setya Novanto.
As for today, KPK will question a general practitioner at Medika Hospital (RS Medika), Permata Hijau, Michael Chia Cahaya. "[He will be] questioned for FY," Febri said, Thursday, January 11.
The questioning was related to the alleged obstruction of justice (OJ) conducted by Fredrich, who is the former lawyer of Setya Novanto. The KPK suspects that Fredrich, who has been named as a suspect, intentionally prevented, obstructed or foiled directly or indirectly the investigation into Setya's case.

KPK suspects Fredrich and a doctor of Medika Hospital, Permata Hijau, Bimanesh Sutarjo, commits a criminal act of hampering or thwarting the investigation in the e-KTP case with Setya as the suspect.
"FY and BST suspected allegedly worked together to admit the suspect Setya Novanto to be hospitalized based on medical records that have allegedly been manipulated,” said KPK Deputy Chairman Basaria Panjaitan at his office on Wednesday, January 10.
Basaria said that the medical data manipulation was done after Setya had a car crash on November 16, 2017. The manipulation aims to avoid summonses and questionings on Setya by KPK investigators.
Previously, Setya Novanto had a car accident in Permata Hijau on November 15, 2017. At that night, Setya's car hit a pole and was immediately taken to Medika Hospital, Permata Hijau.
In fact, Basaria said that Setya scheduled to be questioned as a suspect on the alleged e-KTP graft case on that day.
Meanwhile, Frederick Yunadi said that Setya Novanto suffered a severe accident.
