TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Hutama Karya will receive Rp23.85 trillion funding from the state. This was confirmed after President Joko Widodo signed Government Regulation (PP) No.47/2022 on Addition of the Republic of Indonesia's State Equity to the Share Capital of the Limited Liability Company (Persero) PT Hutama Karya.

"The additional state capital participation is sourced from from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) for Fiscal Year 2022 as re-stipulated in the Details for the State Budget for Fiscal Year 2022," read the PP that Jokowi signed on Thursday, 8 December.

PP 47/2022 states that the purpose of increasing equity participation for PT Hutama Karya is to improve the capital structure while increasing the company's business capacity in fast-tracking the construction work of the Trans Sumatra toll road.

In addition to Hutama Karya, the state will also disburse IDR 2.48 trillion for the State Savings Bank or BTN, as stipulated in PP No.48/2022.

Just like PT Hutama Karya, the funding for BTN is also sourced comes from the 2022 APBN – as stipulated in the 2022 APBN Details.
