TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency’s (BMKG) weather forecast confirmed that parts of Jakarta will be showered by light-intensity rain Tuesday, April 26.

As published in the agency’s website, East Jakarta and South Jakarta will see light rainfall, while other areas of the capital and the Thousand Islands see cloudy sky during the day.

The agency also issued warnings of potential rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds of short duration in the South Jakarta and East Jakarta areas in the afternoon and evening.

At night, the entire area of the capital and the Thousand Islands will be cloudy.

The average air temperature is at a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius, while the highest is 31 degrees Celsius. The air temperature in the Thousand Islands is in the range of 26-29 degrees Celsius.

The air humidity in Jakarta and the Thousand Islands is around 65-100 percent.
