TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Celebrity Raffi Ahmad, who was one of the first to receive COVID-19 vaccine shots in Indonesia, has been reported to the Metro Jaya Police by Lisman Hasibuan, the chairperson of the Defenders of the Unified Indonesian Homeland (Pekat IB), for allegedly violating the health protocols.

Raffi’s actions stirred public uproar as his social media account showed him being in a party without wearing a mask and in a group that did not adhere to social distancing rules, which violated the city’s large-scale social restrictions (PSBB).

As his police report is being processed, Lisman reminded police to uphold impartial justice against the public figures who attended the party held in a property owned by renowned racer Sean Galael. Lisman Hasibuan demanded every person present in the party be arrested.

“If [the party] was held by us common people, we would definitely be arrested,” Lisman said sarcastically.

Raffi Ahmad was one of the "influencers" invited by the government to get vaccinated in a bid to gain public support and entice people into vaccination. Raffi was inoculated at the same event President Jokowi was on Wednesday, January 13, at the Presidential Palace.
