As far as his involvement, Ahmad Heryawan was mentioned in the charges for Billy Sindoro, Lippo Group Director of Operations. Aher reportedly issued the decree No. 648/Kep.1069-DPMPTSP/2017 that delegated his signature upon recommending the Meikarta project’s commercial construction in Bekasi District.

So far, the suspects that were named by KPK include non-active Bekasi Regent regent Neneng Hasanah Yasin, head of the Bekasi firefighter agency Sahat MBJ Nahar, and three regional state officials. KPK suspects they received commitment fees up to Rp13 billion enabling the Meikarta housing construction to commence.
