TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Vice President Jusuf Kalla (JK) presided over the last meeting on the evaluation of the 2018 Asian Games.
“Do you know what we discussed in the last meeting? Seeking criticism,” JK said at the Vice Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Friday, December 14, 2018.
JK said many countries had lauded Indonesia as the host of the 18th Asian Games, and that he did not hear of any criticism on the Games’ implementation.

JK added the only criticism he heard of was that multisport event was too short in terms of duration. “Why only two weeks? It should have been a month,” JK said.
JK then said if the Asian Games were a school subject, he would give an A plus for the committee. The vice president said there were three aspects subjected to evaluation, viz. facilities, implementation and achievements.
“And the scores for all three are beyond expectations,” Jusuf Kalla said.
