TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: Minister of Finance Boediono has said that the Indonesian government will prepare an economic package to increase business activities.
It is hoped that will help stimulate the economy and attract investors to invest in Indonesia.
Boediono was optimistic that bombing at the JW Marriot Hotel would not have a large impact on the Indonesian economy.
We are confident that we can safeguard the economic condition, he said on Wednesday (6/8).
The government, Boediono added, would implement the economic policy as included in the State Budget.
Economic growth, he said, was a development indicator that did not merely depend on the State Budget.
It is the business sector that has the widest influence on the economy in Indonesia.
And we will try to develop business sector, said Boediono.
