Entering the second half, Indonesia had control of the ball. The entry of Dewangga to replace Komang, makes Indonesia's game creations more lively.

Guinea made a mistake in their own defense, which was almost used as a goal for Indonesia. Unfortunately Witan Sulaeman was not ready to pick up the ball which was close to the Guinea goal.

It was Guinea's turn to get a golden opportunity. The ball almost went into Indonesia's goal if Dewangga didn't stand under the crossbar to block it.

Indonesia was penalized again by a penalty in the 72nd minute. Dewangga fouled the Guinea striker in the creation of a counterattack.

The match was paused for several minutes. Because Shin Tae-yong refused to leave the match.

After Shin Tae-yong left, the match then continued. Guinea failed to add to the score, Algassime Bah's penalty hit the crossbar.
