TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Police's General Crimes Directorate (Ditreskrimum) examined Monday a Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigator for allegedy obstructing an investigation on April 7, 2017, in Setiabudi, South Jakarta.
"Today, October 22, 2018, a KPK investigator met a summons from the Jakarta Metro Police's Ditreskrimum investigators," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said on Monday, October 22.
Febri said the commissioners and the anti-graft body allowed the police to grill the KPK investigator, yet he stopped short of detailing the case.
The summons was dated October 12, 2018, following a police report issued on October 11.
The investigation was centering on an alleged criminal act of deliberately preventing, obstructing, inhibiting, or failing an examination or prosecution, direct or indirectly, during a trial of a suspect and a defendant or a witness in a graft case, Febri explained.
