TEMPO.CO, Bogor - A pile-up in Puncak, Bogor Regency, West Java on Sunday that involved 7 cars left two people dead.


"Initially information we received is that two people died in the pile up and three were severely injured,” said official from Bogor resort police AKP Ita Puspitalena in Bogor on Sunday.


Ita also said that the accident happened at 12 am at Tanjakan Selarong, involving a tourist bus named Mulya Sari with the registration number F 7575 WM that was moving from Puncak to Bogor.


It was alleged that the bus lost its control and hit a Honda City car with the registration number F 1078 KU. The crash also affected a Kijang Innova car with the registration number B 1132 CGY and a Kijang Grand car with the registration number B 1569 EMH.


The bus also hit a truck with the registration number F 8145 VP that was coming from the opposite direction.


"The dead victims are the tourist driver and the truck driver,” Ita added.
