Jokowi Releases Indonesian Contingent for 2018 Asian Para Games

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko Widodo or Jokowi released the Indonesian athlete contingent for the 2018 Asian Para Games in the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Tuesday, October 2. In his greeting speech, Jokowi reaffirmed the target that must be achieved by Indonesia.
“I have already said, our target is to be able to enter the top eight, 16 gold (medal),” said Jokowi.
According to Jokowi, the public wants the Indonesian red-white flag to wave and the Indonesia Raya song reverberates in many sports that are followed by the Indonesian contingent.

“As the country's best sons and daughters, I entrust you, ladies and gentlemen, to fight hard, work hard to give the best for this country,” he said.
Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani at Para Village, Kemayoran, last night, confirmed that 425 people from the Indonesian contingent, 300 athletes and 125 officials.
